thats awesome, congrats! what class did you race? an 8 minute course?! i would have passed out! i thing the whistler course is 15 minutes! i have a tumor on my leg that has to be removed, so i probably wont race anymore dh this year. probably. i can ride though. i got to go, im getting ready to go to a bmx race actually. once again, congrats, keep it up!

there is no "bike park". there is a few dirt jumping spots there, some singletrack, all sort of stuff scattered around in the woods. nothing official. great xc riding. if you want directions- there is a T intersection at the end of raymond ave. in poughkeepsie, right after vassar college. across the street is a big red barn and all sorts of construction going down. literally right after the barn there is a pond with a singletrack trail on your right, you cant miss it. follow that and that will bring you into the main dj bowl area, you'll see.

im currently riding. im gonna try to go to diablo this weekend, funds are limited so i may not. let me know when your going.

go for it! is the course set up yet? go walk it down then up, take a couple pratice runs till your somewhat comfortable with the track. ride a little harder than normal to qualify and then bring it on race day, by then you should be comfortable with the course. good luck! let me know how you do, im sure ill see the standings anyway.

i can help you with the bridges, pretty easy. the bigger jumps at vassar are built back up, ill bee there this week sometime. im sure you would get good pics there. im gonna bring a shovel and make them bigger too.

yea, they can come with some cheap parts sometimes but they are worth upgrading.

stinkys are nice bikes, and yes they are dh/fr bikes, my cousin used to have one and he liked it.

behind valkill(literally behind my house) i got some pretty dope dh trails, they are kind of illegal but pretty fun.

yea, give me shout on where it is. i could come through sometime and help build. is it more dirt jump orientated? i have a "track" it my backyard with some pretty nice dirt jumps, rollers, berms, its a working process but its in pretty good condition. i can ride my big bike back there too, its pretty cool. you guys can come over whenever, im always out there. just shoot me a message on here or something.

theres always next season! keep rippin the giant, the more you ride that, the better you will be when you get on a dh rig. you dont even have to ride dh with it, build that leg strength up and get used to reading terrain and body positions on the bike. good luck with everything!

like a month or two ago. its nice, i can just throw the bike in the back and go wherever i want!

its a 2003, the new ones get like $2 a gallon for like 3 years! i spend like almost $150 a week in gas! and the jeep loves the offroad, already camped out in the back of it out in the woods somewhere.

you driving it now? that thing is sick. i just bought a Jeep grand cherokee lerado its nice being a car owner. gas is a b*tch though, epecially driving to diablo all the time. ill be back in like two weeks, ive been riding bmx a bit, i cant really race anymore this year till i get surgery. well hope to see ya there soon.
